Train + Bus

There are 3 different SNCF railway stations in Nice :

  • Nice St Augustin (West of Nice)
  • Nice Ville (downtown / main station)
  • Nice Riquier (East of Nice)

Usually, main trains ("trains grandes lignes") only stop at Nice Ville (main station).

Coming by bus from the main station

  • Exit from the main station "Gare SNCF de Nice Ville" to the left, up to avenue Jean Médecin

  • One on the avenue Jean Médecin, take the tramway - Ligne 1 - direction "Pont Michel".

  • Get off at tramway stop "Saint-Jean d’Angély Université"

  • When getting off the tramway, the "Bâtiment de l’Horloge" building is located just behind you (it’s an old military building refreshed). You just have to cross the street and the tramway railway.

For a map of the local bus network and schedules, visit the Ligne d’Azur website. However, the tramway is more convenient than the bus to come to BCL laboratory.
