Executive Director/Dynamite Fundraiser/Brilliant Communicator/Inspirational Team Manager

All that in one person?

If you exist, we need you.

We're Youth Aliyah-Child Rescue and we support 2,000 needy and abandoned children from all over the world in 5 children's villages in Israel.

And it's a career-making opportunity because you'll be joining us at a time of substantial growth (2003 has been our most heartening year for decades).

We're poised for success: the team is vibrant and committed and the lay committee is supportive.

Your primary role? Effecting a significant hike in income (requiring all the qualities in the headline and then some).

But clinching the job requires more than premium division fundraising skills and inspirational management abilities. You need to be a polished communicator and no slouch at building relationships. And you'll need to be a whiz at devising, implementing and evaluating fundraising plans that work (naturally, an ability to understand the intricate workings of the Anglo-Jewish community is crucial).

If you're out there and fit the specifications, don't shirk the challenge. Those 2,000 kids in Israel really need you now.

Apply in strictest confidence by 26th November to: The Joint Chairmen, Youth Aliyah-Child Rescue, 126 Albert Street, London NW1 7NE

Peace and survival of life on Earth as we know it are threatened by human activities that lack a commitment to humanitarian values.  Destruction of nature and natural resources results from ignorance, greed, and a lack of respect for the Earth's living things... .  It is not difficult to forgive destruction in the past, which resulted from ignorance.  Today, however, we have access to more information, and it is essential that we re-examine ethically what we have inherited, what we are responsible for, and what we will pass on to coming generations.  Clearly this is a pivotal generation... .  Our marvels of science and technology are matched if not outweighed by many current tragedies, including human starvation in some parts of the world, and extinction of other life forms... .  We have the capability and responsibility.  We must act before it is too late.  Tenzin Gyatso the fourteenth Dalai Lama.
