The ICIS 2008 Doctoral Committee invites each university to nominate one candidate for the Doctoral Consortium.

Eligibility

Ph.D. students currently working on Information Systems dissertations are eligible for nomination. Candidates should successfully defend their dissertation/thesis proposals before December 2008, although they need not have defended their proposals before the nomination deadline. Students who will have completed their dissertations by December 2008 will not be accepted.

Doctoral Consortium Facilities

The Doctoral Consortium will take place at the ESSEC Business School from Thursday, December 11 to Sunday, December 14, 2008.

The ESSEC Business School (45 minutes north east of Paris) is located in a truly French country side and offers fully equipped buildings, meeting spaces and recreation facilities (http://www.essec.edu). Accommodation will be provided in "Première Classe" Hotel, located at a walking distance from ESSEC (5’ walk).
