Paris is accessible, easy and affordable. The conference site, Le Palais des Congres, is ideally located near the Champs Elysées and l’Arc de Triomphe. It offers hotel options ranging from the world-class onsite Le Meridien and Concorde to more modest hotels for the budget conscious, conveniently accessible by foot or by metro.

Tonight’s ICIS 2008 Social Event

The event is at the Museum of Fairground Art and Theatre of Marvels (Musée des Arts Forains). The address is 53, Avenue des Terroirs de France.

 Buses will leave from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. –please gather in the Palais des Congrès lobby on the ground floor (level 0) under the lecture halls. Volunteers will walk you from there to the buses.

 For those of you who would like to take the Metro—assemble in the Palais des Congrès lobby near the Information Desk and travel in groups.

 Metro Stop: METEOR 14, Station Cour Saint Emilion, 9 minutes away from CBD (Madeleine / Opera).

 The Pavillions de Bercy are situated in the 12th arrondissement in Paris, in the Eastern part of the city, close to the Porte de Bercy.

CIO symposium has moved to the Havana auditorium (close to the Bordeaux where we had our plenary).
