LANGUAGE SUPPORT CLASSES

 

The duration of this formation (60 hours) does not make possible to obtain a visa. 

Audience: any international student who wishes to take academic courses.

Levels: from A2 to C1 of the CEFR (from beginner to independent user of the language). At least 10 students are needed in order for a group to be created.

 

Prices : 360€ for the students of the university Nice Sophia Antipolis.

           550€ for the students out of the university Nice Sophia Antipolis.

 

Objectives:

For level A0 and A2 groups, these classes aim at giving the students the necessary knowledge in order to speak in every day’s life and in an academic context (exchanges with administration and teaching staffs). For level B1 and above, these classes give priority to oral and written expression in an academic context.

 

Program:

  •            Develop comprehension and oral and written expression in accordance with academic objectives.
  •           Study the language using authentic written, oral and video documents.
  • Understand the methodology used at university.

The detailed program of all the contents corresponding to the objectives of the class is describe at the beginning of the session by the teacher depending on the structure of the group and the various subjects studied by the students.

Course: 6 hours per week (3 session of 2 hours) during 10 weeks.

These classes are evening classes and take place during the evening.

A course certificate can be obtained at student’s request.

Certificates:

- TCF (French Knowledge Test): level test accepted by the French Ministry of Education.

-DALF C1 (French Language studies).

Dates: the 2 sessions match academic semesters.  

 

Dates of the language support classes :

First session from October 1st to Friday December 14th.

Second session from Monday February 11th to Friday May 3rd.
