In this part of the exercise, place the following six sentences in the correct order to construct a logical paragraph.
1. Because this lake is much bigger than Monoun, six to ten pipes will eventually be needed to remove all the gas stored in the lake.
2. These pipes, each about five inches in diameter, will be placed on a floating platform and sent down to the lowest layers of water.
3. If the pipes indeed work in this way, the pipe that will soon be placed in Lake Monoun should allow the gas to be released within about five years.
4. A second set of pipes will be placed in Lake Nyos.
5. In an effort to prevent another catastrophe, an international team of scientists has developed a plan to use large pipes to try to remove the gas from the lakes.
6. Once at the bottom of the lakes, they will pump water up towards the surface, creating a gas-water fountain that should release the carbon dioxide harmlessly into the atmosphere.
